Delegate

Reads bytes from the serial line for a Secs1Worker.

public delegate Secs1IoResult Secs1Read(Span<byte> buffer)

The worker calls this on its own thread while it polls. Return promptly: report Secs1IoStatus.WouldBlock when no byte is available instead of blocking. Do not call the worker from the callback.

Parameters

Name	Description
buffer	The buffer to fill; at most Secs1Options.MaxIoChunk bytes.

Returns

The status and the number of bytes placed at the start of buffer.
