PDComm.GemProgramDurability

Enum

Describes how durably a local process program change was installed.

public enum GemProgramDurability : uint

A successful synchronization is not a guarantee against hardware failure or power loss.

Members

Confirmed

Enumerator

The application accepted an unconfirmed installation with GemEquipment.ConfirmProgramReply. This does not mean that the change was synchronized, and is distinct from GemProgramDurability.Synced.

Confirmed = 4

None

Enumerator

No local change is associated, for example for a rejected request, a request that does not write, or a reply received from the peer.

None = 0

Synced

Enumerator

The change was written to the storage file and the file's parent directory was synchronized.

Synced = 2

Unconfirmed

Enumerator

The change was installed, but its persistence could not be confirmed; the persistence status holds the failure. Do not repeat the change as if it had been rolled back.

Unconfirmed = 3

Volatile

Enumerator

The change was installed in memory only, because the store has no storage file.
