PdcommSecsLimits

Struct

Resource limits for building, decoding, and copying SECS-II items.

typedef struct PdcommSecsLimits { ... } PdcommSecsLimits

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>

Every limit is application policy and is checked before memory is allocated. A handle keeps the limits it was created with and applies them again when it is copied, for example by pdcomm_secs_child().

Members

item_bytes

Field

Largest payload of a single primitive item in bytes.

size_t item_bytes

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>

item_count

Field

Largest number of items in a tree, counting every List and primitive; must be at least 1.

size_t item_count

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>

message_bytes

Field

Largest total encoded size of an item tree, headers included, in bytes.

size_t message_bytes

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>

nesting_depth

Field

Largest nesting depth; capped at 64.

size_t nesting_depth

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>

A primitive or an empty List has depth 1, and each nonempty List adds one level to its deepest child. Zero rejects every item.

struct_size

Field

Size of this structure in bytes; set to sizeof(PdcommSecsLimits) or larger.

size_t struct_size

Declared in: #include <pdcomm.h>
