pdcomm_gem_spool_retry_dequeue

Function

Retries a pending dequeue after an accepted delivery.

PdcommStatus pdcomm_gem_spool_retry_dequeue(PdcommTcpEndpoint *endpoint, PdcommGemSpoolWriteInfo *info)

Declared in: #include <pdcomm_gem_spooling.h>

Performs only the persistence and dequeue of the head that was already delivered; nothing is sent. The pending dequeue survives disconnects and reconnects, so the call works without the original delivery result and without synchronization.

Parameters

NameDescription
endpointEndpoint with an Equipment spool.
infoReceives the outcome (#PDCOMM_GEM_SPOOL_REMOVED). Must not be NULL.

Returns

#PDCOMM_OK or #PDCOMM_SPOOL_UNCONFIRMED when the dequeue was installed; #PDCOMM_STALE_TOKEN when no dequeue is pending; #PDCOMM_INVALID_STATE when no Equipment spool is configured; #PDCOMM_BACKPRESSURE when a staged TCP event is pending; a persistence error such as #PDCOMM_IO_ERROR (still pending); #PDCOMM_INVALID_ARGUMENT for a NULL argument, or #PDCOMM_POISONED.
