pdcomm_gem_spool_confirm_reply

Function

Accepts an unconfirmed installation so its reply can be sent.

PdcommStatus pdcomm_gem_spool_confirm_reply(PdcommTcpEndpoint *endpoint, PdcommGemResult *result)

Declared in: #include <pdcomm_gem_spooling.h>

After pdcomm_gem_spool_respond() returned #PDCOMM_SPOOL_UNCONFIRMED, this call marks the retained reply as ready with durability #PDCOMM_GEM_SPOOL_CONFIRMED. It neither synchronizes nor sends; call pdcomm_gem_spool_respond() again to send the reply. The original persistence error stays visible in persistence_status.

Parameters

NameDescription
endpointEndpoint that produced result.
resultSpool request result holding an unconfirmed reply.

Returns

#PDCOMM_OK on success; #PDCOMM_STALE_TOKEN when the result is stale, consumed, or already answered; #PDCOMM_INVALID_STATE when the result has no unconfirmed reply or is not a spool result; #PDCOMM_BACKPRESSURE when a staged TCP event is pending; #PDCOMM_INVALID_ARGUMENT for a NULL argument, or #PDCOMM_POISONED.
