pdcomm_gem_program_confirm_reply

Function

Accepts an unconfirmed installation so its reply can be sent.

PdcommStatus pdcomm_gem_program_confirm_reply(PdcommTcpEndpoint *endpoint, PdcommGemResult *result)

Declared in: #include <pdcomm_gem_programs.h>

After pdcomm_gem_program_respond() returned #PDCOMM_PROGRAM_UNCONFIRMED, this call makes the retained reply ready with durability #PDCOMM_GEM_PROGRAM_CONFIRMED. It does not perform or claim successful synchronization and never sends an acknowledgement; call pdcomm_gem_program_respond() again with the same arguments to send it. Call pdcomm_gem_program_resync() first if the application requires confirmed directory synchronization.

Parameters

NameDescription
endpointCommunicating GEM endpoint that produced result.
resultProgram request result holding an unconfirmed reply.

Returns

#PDCOMM_OK on success; #PDCOMM_STALE_TOKEN when the result is stale, already answered, or its incoming slot is gone; #PDCOMM_INVALID_STATE when the result holds no unconfirmed reply, is not a program result, or GEM is not Communicating; #PDCOMM_BACKPRESSURE when a staged TCP event is pending; #PDCOMM_INVALID_ARGUMENT for a NULL argument, or #PDCOMM_POISONED.
