PDComm.OpcUa.OpcUaException

Class

The exception thrown when a PDComm OPC UA native call fails.

public sealed class OpcUaException : Exception

The message is the library's English diagnostic text for the failure; do not base decisions on its wording. An OPC UA service failure is not an exception: a response that carries a Bad serviceResult or a ServiceFault is returned normally, see ResponseInfo.ServiceStatus.

Members

LicenseRequired

Property

Gets whether the call was refused because no valid PDComm license grants the module it needs (opcua-client for discovery and connect, opcua-server for server creation); native status 11.

public bool LicenseRequired { get; }

The message then names the module and the license state, for example missing or expired. Clients and servers that already exist are not affected. See License.

NativeStatus

Property

Gets the native status code: 1 invalid input, 2 invalid handle, 3 internal error, 4 buffer too small, 5 runtime error (for example a network, security or protocol failure), 7 busy, 8 poisoned, 9 limit exceeded, 10 closed, or 11 license required.

public int NativeStatus { get; }
