PDComm.OpcUa.BinaryBuffer

Class

An immutable byte buffer owned by the PDComm OPC UA native library.

public class BinaryBuffer : IDisposable

Buffers survive the client or server that produced them. Dispose each buffer to release its native memory and registry slot; a finalizer releases it if you forget.

Copy

Method

Copies the buffer's contents into a new array.

public byte[] Copy()

Returns

A new array with the buffer's bytes, with no terminator.

Notes

• Throws ObjectDisposedException: The buffer has been disposed.
• Throws InvalidOperationException: The buffer is larger than 4 MiB.
• Throws OpcUaException: The native copy failed.

Dispose

Method

Releases the native buffer.

public void Dispose()

Calling this method more than once has no effect.
