pdcomm_opcua_release

Function

Releases a client, server or buffer handle.

int32_t pdcomm_opcua_release(pdcomm_opcua_handle handle)

Releasing an open client aborts its socket without CloseSession; releasing a server stops it like pdcomm_opcua_server_close(). Neither sends a protocol close or shutdown notification. Buffers already returned stay valid.

Parameters

Returns

#PDCOMM_OPCUA_OK, or #PDCOMM_OPCUA_INVALID_HANDLE for a zero, unknown or already released handle.

Notes

• Allowed in every state, including after #PDCOMM_OPCUA_POISONED.
